Ezekiel received one of the strangest visions in the bible. How should we interpret the wheel within a wheel that is covered with eyes? What about the four living creatures with four faces and wings? What about the lightening and blazing torches? Does this describe a heavenly reality or is this symbolic of something? Was there a meaning for the people in Ezekiel’s time? Is it relevant for us today? Does this vision contribute something to our picture of God?
